1. Overview

The Macro Pro Author Affiliate Program ("Program") allows approved participants ("Affiliates") to earn commissions by referring new customers to MPA using a unique affiliate link or code.

2. Eligibility & enrollment

• You must be 18+ and legally able to contract.
• You must provide accurate contact information and a valid PayPal account for payouts.
• MPA may approve, refuse or remove affiliates at its discretion for any breach or conduct inconsistent with these Terms.

3. How it works

• You receive a unique affiliate link (and/or code) to share with your audience.
• When a new customer uses your link or code and completes a qualifying purchase, the sale is attributed to you and generates affiliate earnings.
• Payout method: Commissions are paid via PayPal only. Affiliates must maintain a valid PayPal account to collect earnings.
• Self-referrals (purchasing through your own link/code) are not eligible for commission.

4. Commission & payments

• Rate: The commission rate (and any tiers/bonuses) will be displayed in your affiliate dashboard or onboarding materials.
• Basis: Commissions are calculated on the net sale amount (exclusive of GST/VAT, discounts, refunds, chargebacks and payment processing fees).
• Timing: Commissions are paid at the end of the month following the sale (e.g., March sales are paid by the end of April).
• Threshold: Minimum payout is AUD $50 (or USD equivalent). Balances below this roll over.
• Fees & taxes: Affiliates are responsible for any PayPal fees, taxes, and reporting obligations.

5. Refunds, chargebacks & adjustments

If a referred transaction is refunded, charged back or reversed, the corresponding commission will be deducted from your next payout or adjusted on your account.

6. Brand Assets

You may download and use MPA Brand Assets solely for affiliate promotion, subject to these Terms and any brand guidelines we provide. Do not alter or misuse our marks. On request, you must remove any non-compliant use.

7. Promotion rules & restrictions

• No false, misleading, or exaggerated claims about MPA’s products/services.
• No spam, unsolicited messaging, or misleading redirects.
• No coupon/deal-aggregation placements without written consent.
• No misrepresentation of your relationship with MPA (you are an independent affiliate, not an employee/agent).
• Paid search restriction: Affiliates are strictly prohibited from bidding on, purchasing, or using Macro Pro Author, MPA, or any variations/misspellings/related brand terms as keywords in paid search or social campaigns (including Google Ads, Bing Ads, Facebook/Meta Ads, or similar).

All promotions must comply with applicable advertising, disclosure and consumer laws (e.g., FTC/ACCC). Always include a clear disclosure such as: “I may earn a commission if you buy through my link.”

8. Tracking, disputes & data

Referrals are tracked via our affiliate platform using cookies and link parameters. If you believe a sale was not correctly attributed, email [email protected] within 30 days of the transaction date with supporting evidence (order ID, timestamp, traffic source). MPA will review in good faith; tracking decisions are final.

9. Term & termination

MPA may suspend or terminate your participation immediately for any breach or conduct that harms MPA’s reputation. You may terminate at any time by written notice. Valid, unpaid commissions will be paid in the next cycle, subject to these Terms and provided no breach occurred.

10. Relationship of parties

You are an independent contractor, not an employee, partner or agent of MPA. Nothing creates a joint venture, employment, or franchise relationship.

11. Limitation of liability

MPA’s total liability under these Affiliate Terms is limited to the total commissions payable to you for the preceding three (3) months.

12. Changes

We may update these Affiliate Terms. Material changes will be posted on the Site or emailed to you. Continued participation after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. The parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
